Its ad‘Vantage’ Debit MasterCard for users
December 6th, 2007
The Vantage Debit MasterCard is being issued by the MetaBank. This debit master card is a stored value card. Although opening of an account is not required, but like all stored value cards, payments have to be done in advance. Advance payments could be done through various forms like through the cardholders’ paycheck or through wiring money from an existing bank account, etc.
No benefits being offered in stored value cards are quite normal as well as common. However, there is a free bill pay service offered by this card every month for the first seven transactions. Also there is a free credit builder service, which works by reporting bill payment information to a national credit reporting agency. Hence, those looking out for flexibility in stored value cards, ready for paying in advance, not minding to pay upfront fees, and having no objections in taking part for the credit builder service, will undoubtedly in my mind find the Vantage Debit MasterCard as an extremely advantageous option.
The only disadvantage in this card is that it comes with a baggage of activation fee and monthly participation fee, which roughly amounts up to $100 annually.
